NO. It is not readily flammable as it contains 40% to 45% Carbon di Oxide.
Anaerobic digester is “Air-Tight” chamber where food waste degrades or ferments in the absence of air. Hence no odor in the unit.
Biogas storage balloon is provided to store the biogas to enable the usage as required. Additionally, Biogas flare is provided as a “Safety Measure” for the biogas plant to burn excess biogas.
Typical Composition of Biogas is

General: Regular feeding to Anaerobic Digester which is part of everyday operations. Specific: Nothing major maintenance as there are very minimum rotating items. Regular checks for on electro-mechanical part viz., pumps, motors, blower is required
2 persons per shift during the feeding time. Feeding can happen twice or thrice a day based on waste generation pattern at property.
Options:
Feed flow meter and Gas measuring flow meter is provided to capture the feed and gas data. Same shall be connected to IoT module for real time monitoring.
